Visit by 75 (NZ) Sqn Association

Apologies for the late update but we had a visit on 9th november to the workshop by over 30 members of the 75 (NZ) Sqn association. They had a good look around and saw progress on the flightdeck and viewed the items recovered from BK710. We had a very positive response and it was good to meet Sgt John Macfarlane who baled out of EH955 of 75 Sqn, which was shot down by a nightfighter on a mining operation to Kiel Bay on 19.4.44. The Stirling crashed near Gram in Denmark.

The following photos show the whole group and one of John next to the wreckage of a forward escape hatch identical to the one he left in a hurry in 1944!
